Ewa Mazur-Koj is a Polish-born artist. After a formative period in Italy, she has lived and worked in Germany since 2004. Her work has been presented in national and international exhibitions in Europe, the USA, and Asia. In her paintings, she combines figuration and abstraction to create emotional spaces where body, memory, and identity enter into dialogue. The female body and experiences form her starting point, but her themes extend far beyond this. Identity, memory, and inner transformation are central to her work. Her figures are not portraits of specific people, but rather traces of human presence—open to the experiences and memories of the viewer.
