In this artwork, I combine expressive acrylic and oil paints to depict the inner conflict and transformation of the human spirit. The dynamic composition of figurative and semi-abstract elements speaks of letting go and reversing perspectives. Ewa Mazur-Koj is a versatile artist who grew up in Poland and has lived in Germany since 2004. She primarily works with acrylic, oil and mixed media. Her fluid techniques mix realism and abstraction, with people often at the center of her work. Her metaphorically rich works focus on the individual, whose feelings and vulnerability are permeated by a subtle eroticism. They are the visual expression of an indescribable world of thought.
