About this artwork
From ANTICORPI - Symbolism and feminine beauty surrounded by splashes of color and surreal and metaphysical atmosphere, frame so much beauty, the girl I portrayed and loved, lost in the void of my mind. Memories and dreams, voluptuousness, transposition of the desire for possession, from reality to thought, source of perennial memory for all that has been loved and avidly desired.
Seduction is the common thread that links all my works, with the… female image rising to an emblem in which a sophisticated and elusive sensualism remains underground and secret.
In this work, the woman in the foreground was photographed by me and finished with enamel colors and dripping on canvas, the frame surrounds a face that slowly fades away, but the seduction, the eroticism remains, represented by the red pepper. The flight of thoughts, the dreamlike dimension is represented by symbolic expressionism, by action painting made with enamel colors, shiny and very vivid.

Ezio Ranaldi, is an artist born in Canosa di Puglia, in the Province of Bari, on May 23, 1948, where he lives and works. He has held many solo and group exhibitions in various cities, including Tarquinia, at the Etruscopolis Museum, in Ferrara at the Estense Castle, in Cannes in France, in Norwich in Great Britain, in Paris, in Bari, and in many other Italian locations. He has participated in various International Biennials including Rome, Florence, Ferrara, Lecce, Verona. Present in various Modern and Contemporary Art Fairs, including Padova Arte, ExpoArte in Bari, Artisti in Mostra in Parma, Artexpo in New York, Arte Salerno. Numerous prizes and awards. His works appear in public and private collections, as well as being published several times in catalogs and contemporary art magazines. Valuable critics have expressed themselves regarding his work.
