Fatimie Ashyrova

Ireland

Fatimie Ashyrova is a self-taught artist with formal training in classical drawing and painting. Working in oil, acrylic, and mixed media, she combines realism, abstraction, and symbolism. Her style reflects decorative minimalism, inspired by Matisse, O’Keeffe, Hockney, and Thiebaud.

Currently, she is focused on a still life series in the spirit of the 1960s — sunlit scenes with vases, flowers, and fruit — as well as floral abstractions with layered textures and emotional depth.

After relocating to Ireland due to war, Fatimie restarted her artistic path from scratch and continues to grow her practice. Her work has been shown internationally, including at the Paolo de Britto Gallery in Germany.

She aims to expand into modernist and abstract directions, scale up her canvases, and participate in major art fairs and exhibitions.
