About this artwork
Originally composed of a collection of studies spanning over ten years, sketches were applied, which, as studies, took shape and took on a life of their own on other unique canvases, which have been relocated here. Inviting patient observation, you will notice two self-portraits, cicada wings, and drops of blood from an accidental carelessness in handling the work material.
Their importance and appreciation transcend time and space, and my scribbles… and uncertainties will find a place in the observer's vision and feeling.
As God dwells in the details and subtleties, this is the basis of my creative process, for it is in the search for Him that my brushstrokes move. And in them I seek to find my truth and my service: to Him, then to myself, and consequently to you as well.
