About this artwork
This sculpture in white terracotta is a unique piece, made with clay from tuscany. Fernando made this portrait as a study for an african crucifix commissioned by an africanamerican christian community in the US. The model is called Madou. The base's fluid rhythms balances out the definition of the face, at the same times that gives the sculpture a vertical movement.
