About this artwork
It's a unique work, "The Flow," an underwater river, life, energy, exchange, light that floods in and finds its way into every nook and cranny. After working on the background, the piece was executed on the spot. It reminds me of a large contemporary tapestry.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Floch, a painter and architect trained in Le Havre and Paris, uses canvas as a building space where he sculpts light with broad brushes and wooden or metal slats. His technique blends architectural gestures with contemporary abstraction influenced by his life experiences: superimposed layers, structured matter, and a quest for the visible and the invisible. Through his luminous and layered works, he conveys wonder, contemplation, and a profound sensitivity to light, seeking to magnify the invisible and capture the shifting memories of his childhood.
