About this artwork
I created this piece with my beloved New York City in mind, aiming to capture the tension between light and darkness, with vibrant touches of yellow that evoke hope amidst the chaos. The oil paint texture brings these abstract forms to life, inviting deep contemplation. Imagine this dynamic energy illuminating your home, bringing both mystery and a warm glow.
This work, which I have named "i will see", invites reflection.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Floch, a painter and architect trained in Le Havre and Paris, uses canvas as a building space where he sculpts light with broad brushes and wooden or metal slats. His technique blends architectural gestures with contemporary abstraction influenced by his life experiences: superimposed layers, structured matter, and a quest for the visible and the invisible. Through his luminous and layered works, he conveys wonder, contemplation, and a profound sensitivity to light, seeking to magnify the invisible and capture the shifting memories of his childhood.
