About this artwork
That day, color triumphed over black, the raw intensity of emotions expressed through powerful contrasts between deep black and incandescent fire. It was a powerful and contrasting moment. Armed with a wooden board, I smoothed and beat the canvas, evoking a dynamic, almost explosive energy. This canvas will transmit to your home this dynamic and passionate vibration that I carry within me. It is a fusion of chaos and light, an invitation to feel…
the power of the present moment.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Floch, a painter and architect trained in Le Havre and Paris, uses canvas as a building space where he sculpts light with broad brushes and wooden or metal slats. His technique blends architectural gestures with contemporary abstraction influenced by his life experiences: superimposed layers, structured matter, and a quest for the visible and the invisible. Through his luminous and layered works, he conveys wonder, contemplation, and a profound sensitivity to light, seeking to magnify the invisible and capture the shifting memories of his childhood.
