In this work, I sought to capture the ephemeral essence of the horizon, a moment when light and color blend in a ballet of subtle nuances.
Using oil, I used thickened textures with a specific paste and created glazed layers to evoke the depth, immensity, and beauty of the ocean.

Florence Penet is a French artist who creates abstract paintings characterized by a search for light through the interplay of chromatic contrast and harmony. Working primarily in oils, she often adds marble dust for an impasto effect and to structure her compositions.
