About this artwork
Inspired by the lush nature of the tropics, this painting ( like the matching painting Sweet tropical heat 1 ) measures 120 x 100 cm and immediately catches the eye with the bold brushstrokes with which the artist layered the colors boldly and energetically became. Blossoms in various shades of magenta emerge from dark green, like large leaves and yet abstract, which symbolize the lush diversity of the tropics with heavy, large calyxes. The eye delights… in a painting full of joie de vivre and harmony, which is inspiration and joy. Françoise Wattré has once again created a work that affects us, is a blessing for the soul and touches us positively. True to her approach of wanting to give joy with her art at a time that is challenging us all more than ever. The paintings are offered individually, but together they form a beautiful diptych (2-part painting) as you can see in the photos.
« There is something special about beautiful art, it makes our hearts so light and bold. »
Françoise Wattré paints intuitively. The artist, who is based in Germany, also conveys moods and symbols, as pertaining to emotions. Wattré describes her art as honoring the beauty of life and wants to remind viewers of how precious it is. Although her compositions feature a varied color palette, the image of the flowers is almost always present. Her distinctive pieces are created using acrylics and pigments on canvas or linen.
