This pair of small circular paintings explores the space between movement and stillness — that subtle place where life shifts, unfolds, and transforms. In a calm monochrome palette, forms drift like mountains dissolving into cloud or waves turning back into themselves.
Each work carries its own energy: one more dynamic and storm-lit, the other quiet as mist settling over distant hills. Shown together, they create a dialogue of contrasts — darkness… and light, tension and calm — offering balance and gentle reflection.
The circle is a shape I return to often. Without corners, it feels soft, like a moon or a window into another world.
Technique: Acrylic and natural sand on linen canvas
