About this artwork
Gentle shades of blue and white drift across the surface, capturing the invisible movement of wind and light through wide, silent spaces. Inspired by the ever-changing views of the Dolomites near my home, this painting reflects that suspended moment when earth and sky dissolve into one, evoking clarity, stillness, and a quiet sense of wonder.
Formed through delicate layers of sand and acrylic, the surface reveals subtle depth and fluid movement.… Shifts of light across the textured plane give the work a breathing rhythm — an interplay between motion and calm. The restrained palette speaks to my fascination with impermanence: how nature, and we ourselves, are in constant transformation, leaving only gentle traces of what has been lived.
Medium: Acrylic and sand on Yupo
Size (unframed): 8.3 × 11.8 × 0.1 in | 21 × 30 × 0.1 cm

Artist Statement: My work explores the interplay between nature's elements and human resilience, drawing inspiration from clouds, ocean waves, and landscapes. These forms reflect life's challenges and transformations.
Through layered textures and organic shapes, I capture transitions where calm meets chaos, strength meets upheaval. My style combines soft tones with vibrant contrasts, highlighting the balance between adaptability and strength.
I invite viewers to connect with these abstract landscapes, celebrating our shared journey of growth and resilience. Influences include Zao Wou-Ki, Julie Mehretu, traditional Chinese ink painters, and architects like Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry.
