About this artwork
When I created this piece, I wanted to explore the duality of our emotions and human fragility. The resin captures the texture of the skin with an authenticity you can almost feel. The contrast of the raw with the delicacy of the flowers reveals the complexity of the soul. This sculpture conveys a unique energy, which is sure to add deep and artistic conversation to any home.

« The stories of each character, isolated in an intimate and personal dimension, are reflections on human values, perceptions and emotions. »
Francesca Dalla Benetta is an Italian sculptor based in Mexico. After 10 years working as a makeup artist in the film industry, Dalla Benetta is now a dedicated full-time artist. Her work is characterized by anatomies and mixed forms. Faces and human bodies are combined with different textures, skins and elements, giving rise to hybrid and fantastic beings. Through unusual, strange and surreal bodies, her pieces focus on the problems of transformation, identity, the sense of belonging, self-perception and dreams.
