About this artwork
Whoever views a field of sunflowers will be surprised by the sheer size of some of these flowers. Whenever the occasion occurs Frits van Roon has the habit of walking into these fields to undergo their overwhelming presence. And even more so on nights of the full moon. In this woodcut he tries to capture these moment of seclusion on these nights.
This print is the second of two unique prints. Print number 1 has 'green' as a predominate colour and… the print viewed on the Singulart site '2/2' has the predominating colours orange and dark brown.
This print is presented in a white coloured triplex passe-partout, in a wooden frame measuring 111 x 126 x 4 cm with a plexiglass pane.
