About this artwork
Núcleo Eterno is that center. A vertical architecture that sustains the gaze and concentrates energy. Gold, black, and white overlap in dense layers, eroded and reconstructed, like sediments from an imaginary planet. It's not just color: black absorbs, white breathes, gold radiates.
I work without a prior sketch. I let the material suggest the next decision: scrape, cover, glaze. I seek to make the surface a living space, where every inch contains… a story. When the central axis ceases to be a line and begins to be a place, I know the work is complete.
In Eternal Core, the viewer is confronted with a paradox: a fixed point that feels in motion, a present that seems eternal. In My Universe, this core is the force that unites everything, visible and invisible.

Gabriel Lass, painter and sculptor, began his artistic path outlining houses and gardens, but found in painting a place to eternalize feelings. It uses an aesthetic of expressive abstraction, using vibrant colors and dynamic strokes, often with acrylic, seeking textures and layers with different tools and brushes for visual and tactile impact. His work is an eloquent testimony of his deepest emotions, life experiences and significant moments, building an emotional dialogue with the viewer.
