About this artwork
A crowd of anthropomorphic animals and hominids crowd a beach, creating a chaotic and overloaded atmosphere. The figures, not well defined, seem to be in motion, as if they were fighting for space. The blue of the sea and the warm tones of the sand create a natural and harmonious contrast.
The irony of the scene is clear: these animals, who should be in tune with nature, behave like humans, carrying around useless objects such as chairs and car… seats.
The figures, undefined and overlapping, seem to be a single entity, a shapeless mass that moves and shakes. The painting becomes a reflection on the absurdity of modern life and on our tendency to complicate and overload our existence with superfluous objects and behaviors.
The painting invites the viewer to reflect on his relationship with nature and the objects around him, and to ask himself whether it is possible to find greater simplicity and authenticity in life.
Gabriele Poidomani, graduated in illustration, has worked in advertising publishing and as a set designer, now devotes his mastery to painting. His technique skillfully mixes the figurative and the abstract, giving life to works that encapsulate deep philosophical questions through morphology and chromatism. His art is a silent cry, an intense and powerful way of communicating the investigations of human existence.
