In the arena, scorched by the Spanish sun, the bullfighter freezes in tense grace, his cape a splash of scarlet flame in the air. The bull, the embodiment of primordial strength, rushes at him with fury, his eyes flashing and his hooves kicking up dust from the ground. Their meeting is a dance on the edge of life and death, filled with rhythm, passion and the moment. In this scene, time seems to stand still... The peak of emotions.
My long-long… dream is to get to a bullfight. My desire is so strong that I dedicated this painting to it.

I, Galyna Antonenko, am an architect by training.
I studied painting for six years in the private studio of the renowned Ukrainian artist V. Sosna. I use primarily bright acrylic paints in my works.
My art is an attempt to stop time.
When I paint women's portraits, it's as if I whisper to them: "Stop, moment—you are so beautiful!"
I am inspired by those brief, almost imperceptible moments when a person becomes truly visible—without posing, without protection, simply themselves.
The women in my paintings are not models, but reflections of inner strength, vulnerability, and beauty in simplicity.
I seek in every face that facet of light where life is hidden.
Children's portraits occupy a special place in my work. Adults strive to appear, while children strive simply to feel. And I strive to capture this pure feeling: delight, surprise, sadness, joy—everything that makes us alive. My paintings are more than just images. It is a dialogue with the moment.
