Inspired by the sunrise over Mt Everest, Mighty Rise captures the quiet power of emergence — the moment when darkness yields to light. Built with layered acrylics and a palette knife, the composition rises from deep, grounding blues into luminous bands of turquoise, ochre, and gold, evoking strength formed through patience and endurance.

Part of my Soliloquy series, this work reflects the inner dialogue that accompanies growth — the silent resolve,… vulnerability, and self-belief that shape personal transformation. The ascent is intentional rather than dramatic, echoing the way clarity and strength often unfold slowly.

Mighty Rise invites a pause for reflection, encouraging the viewer to listen inward and recognise their own capacity to rise, quietly and powerfully, from within.
