About this artwork
A miniature architectural sculpture combining natural wood and patinated bronze. The piece stands as a tall, rectangular wooden block with visible oak-like grain and a clean matte finish. One face is covered with a precise grid of identical raised bronze squares; any variation in tone comes from lighting and photography, not from different elements.
On top sits a compact patinated bronze structure: rounded, ribbed arches sweep backward and end in… a cluster of circular openings with crisp edges. The contrast between warm wood and patinated bronze gives the sculpture a clean, contemporary design-object feel, with strong geometry and tactile surface detail.

Endriekus, with a background in Sculpture from Vilnius Academy of Arts, utilizes concrete and bronze. His meticulous creation of figurative sculptures channels ancient mythology, capturing humanity and their animal counterparts. Through the use of longstanding archetypes, Endriekus portrays existential themes addressing life's evolution and humanity's dawn – the unfathomable crossover into consciousness. His work is a contemplative musing on the nature of existence, its revealed miracle stirring deep-felt wonderment.
