About this artwork
Plant Object is a small contemporary bronze sculpture set on a rectangular granite base with a bronze plate. The upper section is cast in bronze and built from layered, plant-like forms with folded edges and clustered, stem-like protrusions. Its surface is textured and matte, with pale deposits accentuating the relief.
The contrast between the dark granite base, the smooth bronze plate and the organic bronze form gives the piece a clear, balanced… silhouette.
