About this artwork
What is the greatest form of love? For me, without a doubt, the love of a mother towards her children. This love is unconditional and indescribable.
Along with this love, the love between siblings is one of the most beautiful, especially between twin brothers who have been together since the womb and have a special and indissoluble relationship.
In my work "Twins", I try to represent these two types of love: The love of a mother for her two babies… that she is waiting for in her womb and on the other the love between these two twin brothers, who come together and intertwine in an embrace. waiting for the great moment of his birth.
Beige, flesh, cream, dark ocher and natural sienna tones dominate the work to give it realism and tenderness. With the help of the stucco mass and the palette, I give movement and expressiveness to the work. As a result: a painting full of intimacy, tenderness and above all love.
