About this artwork
The last splash of bright summer on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, a street in the small town of Piran on the border of Slovenia and Italy. Warm breeze, blue sky and sea intertwined in the tight embrace of the sun.In this watercolor painting I mix expressionistic strokes with realistic details to capture the essence and atmosphere of Piran. The vibrant blues and swirling shapes reflect the lively energy and melancholic longing that this picturesque… seaside town evokes. My goal was to portray not only the external view, but also the inner emotional life of the town, creating a work of art that is both visually appealing and emotionally profound. This painting brings the memory of the sea, history and dreamy nostalgia to any room.
We are surrounded by an incomprehensible world in which you can get lost. We look into it and try to find ourselves. This is an ongoing process. The artist sees deeper and tries to convey what he saw. What he was able to see and express becomes a fact that did not exist before. The artist's life is a journey. He will never be satisfied until the end. He will always look into this world and create facts. Connoisseurs will look for definitions, connoisseurs will discover new colors, children will enjoy pictures. At some point the artist asks himself and others: "What is happening? What is this world, where are we? What is this life we live?" He collects his work and makes an exhibition. Most likely, there will be no exact answer, new questions arise that are the engines of this journey called life.
