About this artwork
"Rebirth" captures the sacred moment of genesis, the exact moment life emerges from matter. A female figure, defined by the intricate parametric cellular network typical of Thoth's style, lies on the ground, immersed in profound stillness.
The porous and lightweight structure gives the sculpture a sense of permeability and visual fragility. Some extremities of the body, such as the lower legs and arms, appear incomplete or sharply severed. The… work makes no attempt to hide this partiality, but transforms it into a powerful metaphor: the woman is not simply resting on the surface, but is literally separating from it, as if emerging from the earth itself or rising from her own ashes.

Giacomo Toth is an artist and designer who blends aesthetics, technology, and concepts. With a background in digital design (IED) and industrial design (Sapienza University), he has a distinguished career as a yacht designer, designing the Azimut Atlantis Verve 36, awarded "Boat of the Year 2009," before dedicating himself entirely to contemporary art in 2018.
His research explores themes of lightness, fluidity, and resistance, drawing inspiration from the human body, yoga, and parametric architecture. Through the use of plastic materials and digital technologies, Toth creates sculptures balancing dynamism and fragility, capable of engaging with space and sensory perception.
Internationally recognized, he has participated in prestigious events such as Art Revolution Taipei and Artbox Project at Miami Art Basel Week. His work invites reflection on the relationship between energy and matter, combining design rigor and poetic imagination.
