"Boes and merdules"
"Boes e merdules" are masks of the Sardinian tradition of the town of Ottana, "the boes" wears the mask with the features of an ox on his face, the "merdules" are the guardians of the oxen, "Sa filonzana" is a disturbing female figure dressed in black accompanying the procession. The artist interprets a vision of the culture and tradition of his land, in the work the compositional movement depicts the… characters in their natural behavior.
Technique: Acrylic on mdf panel Cm .70x80
Original work of its kind, signed on the front and back accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
