About this artwork
This sculpture embodies fragility and strength combined, blending resin and recycled objects to bring intense emotion to life. I wanted to express pain, resilience, and hope all at once, through an assemblage that captures the light and plunges the soul into deep reflection. It will bring a vibrant, introspective energy that will transform your space into a sanctuary of humanity.
"Christ with the Broken Bottles"
40x25cm shards of bottles, shells… and resin
I recovered this Jesus Christ from among the rocks of a beach in Sète. I collected shards of bottles polished by the Mediterranean Sea as well as shells.
I then glued these pieces of glass together one by one to create a cross support on which I placed Christ. I had previously gilded and glittered it.
I also made a holy water font at his feet.

As a painter and sculptor known by the pseudonym Baron Toto PISSACO, my works are often dynamic, colorful, and tinged with humor. My style ranges from graffiti and comics to outsider and naive art, depending on my inspiration and the technique I use. I enjoy working with acrylics, gouache, Posca markers, and oils.
One of my latest projects is the creation of a tarot deck, with the production of 22 cards based on the Marseille tarot model.
Diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 21, exhibiting the characteristics of McDonald's triad, I found in painting a way to express myself and heal myself... it seems to be working because several decades later I still haven't killed anyone, long may it last ;-)
