I passionately created this work to express the power of sacrifice and rebirth through reclaimed materials, blending resin and assembled objects. "Christ with Brushes"
45x25cm used brushes for the cross, tubes of gouache for the body of Christ
Nothing is thrown away,… everything is transformed, it's a basic principle for me, when I can do it I try to recover everything and transform it.
So this is the case with this Jesus Christ, the cross is made up of used paintbrushes and brushes that were going to end up in the trash.
The body is made with two tubes of gouache, see additional photos.

As a painter and sculptor known by the pseudonym Baron Toto PISSACO, my works are often dynamic, colorful, and tinged with humor. My style ranges from graffiti and comics to outsider and naive art, depending on my inspiration and the technique I use. I enjoy working with acrylics, gouache, Posca markers, and oils.
One of my latest projects is the creation of a tarot deck, with the production of 22 cards based on the Marseille tarot model.
Diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 21, exhibiting the characteristics of McDonald's triad, I found in painting a way to express myself and heal myself... it seems to be working because several decades later I still haven't killed anyone, long may it last ;-)
