About this artwork
This is a painting of my backyard garden inspired by a friend of mine, Rotem, who is a collage artist. In this work I limited my palette to just 3 colors plus white and kept the forms and shapes very simple, flattening the image and causing a tension between real space and color and shape. I was delighted with the result and I love it when I can learn something from another artist.
