About this artwork
The work depicts a vase of flowers placed directly in front of a window. The drawing is executed in charcoal and pencil and colored with gouache. The forms are abstract, the mood cheerful, as is typical of many Fauvist paintings and drawings. Some works by Raoul Dufy served as inspiration.
