About this artwork
In this painting, I conveyed intense and contradictory emotions using vibrant colors and expressionistic forms to express freedom and inner conflict. I wanted to depict the struggle between inner fire and external constraints, with a surreal touch that invites questioning of reality. This work injects a visceral and bold energy, perfect for filling any space with reflection and vitality.

Goretti Chavira, originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, has developed a unique pictorial language that blends expressionism, fauvism, and surrealism.
