In my digital artwork, I combine the natural world with surreal elements to create a scene full of magic and wonder. A stately tree, its branches reaching far into the glowing sky, takes center stage - a symbol of strength and life.
And in him dwells the Lord God. Around him, animals blend harmoniously into the image, each with a unique presence that emphasizes the importance of their existence and our respect for their mysteries. This work is intended… to remind viewers of the deep, almost mystical connection we have with nature and how it feeds our imagination and spirit. It invites us to allow ourselves a moment of peace and deep connection with the earth.
This digital painting is printed on aluminum dibond using lightfast UV direct printing and framed with a black shadow gap frame. The edition of the painting is limited to 4 copies, numbered and hand-signed.

Hans Batschauer is a German painter who exhibits nationally and internationally in both group and solo exhibitions.
Originally painting with oil and acrylic, since 2021 he has focused entirely on digital painting in the style of New Surrealism.
He creates “transformative and mysterious paintings,” as he himself writes, which convey a unique visual language of suggestive power in luminous colors.
In doing so, he does not imitate classical painting techniques, but creates complex hybrid compositions using a whole range of digital tools.
At the heart of his often symbolically and religiously charged picture stories is man with his feelings, dreams and longings.
