Beneath the colors lies history. An earlier work – by the same hand,
printed, painted over, transformed. Not erased. Just transformed.
Like memory reassembling itself.
What is visible today did not arise from emptiness, but from the tension between
what was, and what now desperately wanted to come to light. Something was there before.
And it hasn't disappeared. It's just been overshadowed by what was now more pressing.
But perhaps a new balance.…
In movement. In letting go. In allowing blurriness as a possibility. The black lines are not boundaries—they are seams.
Try to hold the unconnected together somehow.
I painted this picture on a printed canvas of one of my “old” paintings.
