About this artwork
The painting "The world is reshaping itself" was created in October 2020 and deals with the reflection on oneself and the focus on inner balance as the basis of a social, tolerant coexistence and harmonious life. Dividing values and constructions unite under the golden-yellow, seahorse-shaped mythical creature, the Greco-Roman, mythological hybrid "hippocampus". It is in dialogue with an attentive bird (soul). To the right of it, geometric, rational…
forms emerge, also related or in communication. With "The world is reshaping itself" I also refer to that part of our brain, the hippocampus, which is considered the central control point of the limbic system (emotion) and maintains the inner balance between rational and irrational, between myth and reason.
