About this artwork
When Isabelle described this piece, she mentioned thinking that the riches of the world fall short when compared a freshly picked, ripe strawberry. She said she menat the kind where you already know how amazing they’ll taste just by smelling them, where the juices drip down your chin when you bite into one. Those strawberries are what describes this delicious, rich red, the joy of being in the moment. A close look at the detail photos show hints…
of the layers of color under the red - turquoise, pinks, black, grey - this history in contrast with bold decisions about shapes and where Isabelle wants your eye to travel is what makes her work so highly collected around the world. “A Sip of Strawberries” is 12” x 12” (30cm x 30 cm) acrylic and pencil on a birch wood panel, framed as shown in the photo and in the detail photos (with the frame it measures 14” x 14”).

She has been invited to show her work in 2025 for the forth consecutive year in the highly prestigious juried art show, the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. Isabelle's work has also been seen in the art magazine American Art Collectors, she was the first ever abstract artist interviewed on the renowned PodCast the American Art Collective, and her work has been seen a host of Conde Nast magazines, including Vanity Fair, and World of Interiors.
