About this artwork
Isabelle told us that she had her own conversation going with both sides of this painting as it unfolded. At one time this was a all shades of blue and teal (you'll see hints of that if you look closely). Then she worried for awhile that she had two distinct side starting to unfold in the design, but there was something she liked about that. In the end Isabelle finally found a way to bring both sides together. She knew it was finished when each side…
felt stronger because of the other. And, in fact, you might notice that one side is giving just a bit more room so the other can shine a little brighter. This is “Give and Take”, 12” x 12” acrylic on a birch wood panel, framed in a natural maple wood floating frame. It is a bright, cheerful and lively painting that can hold it's own in any setting.

She has been invited to show her work in 2025 for the forth consecutive year in the highly prestigious juried art show, the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. Isabelle's work has also been seen in the art magazine American Art Collectors, she was the first ever abstract artist interviewed on the renowned PodCast the American Art Collective, and her work has been seen a host of Conde Nast magazines, including Vanity Fair, and World of Interiors.
