About this artwork
The artist shows her ability to create a translucent, almost 3-dimensional palette of color and design. She uses layers of color then sands back into each layer to allow more light to pass through. You can see the subtle marks and colors behind the surface, as if they are reflecting their own color wavelengths (which is actually what happens with this process - it increases the visibility of all colors). in the summer months in Southern Califonia (where the artist lives), this is "Summer Breeze", 16" x 16" acrylic on birch wood panel, sealed in a thin layer of cold wax to reduce glare. Summer Breeze is framed and ready to hang in a natual maple wood floating frame.

Isabelle's work has also been seen in the art magazine American Art Collectors, she was the first ever abstract artist interviewed on the renowned PodCast the American Art Collective, and her work has been seen a host of Conde Nast magazines, including Vanity Fair, and World of Interiors.
