Hanging art is one of the easiest ways to add personality to bare walls, but it doesn't have to be bright and colourful to make a statement. The monochromatic design of a piece like this stands out against a plain background, creating an impactful focal point. High-contrast and striking, this black-and-white piece of art works well with nearly any color scheme or design style. "Untethered" is 12" x 12" acrylic on a birch wood panel. The Artist works… exclusively on birch wood because of its endurance over canvas and because it allows her to sand into the layers to expose the history of each piece. "Untethered" is framed in a gallery quality 1.5" deep natural maple wood floating frame. Please see detail images.
« Beautiful art comes from inspiration. Inspiration comes from being present, from feeling alive. That's what art is for. »
