About this artwork
I confess that living in California for so many years and now living in New England, I find myself Longing for Springtime when the calendar says that it is SPRING! This piece was created at exactly this time of year in Massachusetts, when we had two feet of snow, and no signs of the lovely flowers, the promise of spring were to be found. Painted in all the glorious colors of the season, including the darkness of the rain clouds, pinks and blushes…
of new buds on the trees, new greens in the grasses and foliage...ah the dream of it all!
