About this artwork
Hey there! 😊 As I was going through some old images that I had stored away for years, I couldn't help but linger on the ones of my maternal grandmother, who played such an important role in my early childhood. She had such an incredible eye for color and design, and I remember being surrounded by bold patterns and beautiful objects in her home.
As I looked at these images, I started to imagine myself in the amazing, colorful cities that I've visited… and that she imagined going to - Paris, Madrid, Florence, London... 😍 It was like being transported to a happy, imaginative place, and I could feel the excitement of re-exploring all of these incredible destinations.
As an artist, I love that so many of my adventures happen on the canvas. This piece is a tribute to my grandmother's influence on my life and my love of travel, and I hope it brings a little bit of that joy and beauty into your home!
