This is part of the Finding the Beauty series. Reflecting upon the serenity of winter. The artist was sitting in her environment during a particularly long and cold winter, and decided to change her mind about things and focus on the actual beauty surrounding her in the Berkshire winter landscape. Looking piercingly at the soft light she saw the mauves, soft yellows and blues in the horizon and in the foreground where the shadows played in the snow.…
