HOLY RELICS
In the Hautes Pyrénées, in the far south
from France, arriving in Gavarnie, I turn
on the right towards Lake Ossué and the
Vignemale. Just before embarking on the
tiny road which will then become a
track, I turn left towards
from the neck of the tents.
After several km of uphill turns, I
park the “carriage” in the parking lot, and start
to walk on the left towards the tiny
summit of “La Pahule”. The picture was taken
at… this place, on which you can discern
the waterfall of the Gavarnie cirque, as well as the
surrounding summits and reliefs, with holy hats
relics by an august crown of clouds…
