About this artwork
Delirium is part of a series of early works in which I explored acrylic painting with an intuitive and liberated approach. Self-taught, I let spontaneity guide my movements, without imposing a predefined technique on myself. The result is a vivid and immediate painting, created in the urgency of the moment, similar to the spirit of Art Brut.

JLP, a pharmacist by training who became a collector and gallery owner, explores painting, drawing, collage, photography, and digital art. He adopts hybrid techniques combining abstraction, fantasy, and humor, leaving room for chance, the absurd, and intuition to guide his gesture. His works convey a free and spontaneous energy, inviting the viewer to contemplate beauty in chaos and to welcome the unexpected with lightness and wonder.
