About this artwork
This work is an exploration of the circular format, envisioned as a new space for creation. The different dynamics allowed me to work with the notions of breath and lightness. Subsequently, the idea of "Moons" emerged, and my floral universe was transposed into a semi-fantastical world. The small format invites contemplation. It certainly requires an extra effort from the viewer to "see" what they don't usually see, but the emotions thus "gathered"…
in a confined space allow them to reconnect with their inner selves in a more active way. As is typical of my work, the theme is not so much nature or the mastery of the landscape, but rather the escape that contemplation provides.

Between abstraction and the evocation of reality, my works explore how matter, color, and gesture can convey experiences rather than fixed representations. Nature is omnipresent, not as a descriptive subject, but as a language. It becomes flow, vibration, and space.
My work constructs a progressive reading of perception in 3 series.
INNER LIGHT brings together luminous works in which floral forms are simplified to create living compositions, capable of engaging with contemporary spaces while retaining a strong pictorial identity.
INNER LANDSCAPES explores landscapes as interior spaces in motion. Nature is suggested through fluid structures. Each work becomes a mental territory, between memory and perception.
More conceptual in nature, STATES OF BECOMING explores the process of transformation of form. The works capture intermediate states between appearance and dissolution.
