About this artwork
A serene watercolor painting that captures the essence of resting boats with a receptive play of light and shadow. I focused on seeing the beauty of a harbor through an abstract lens in watercolor, using a loose, flowing, sketchy style. My goal was to capture the quiet simplicity of the boats on the water.
