About this artwork
A stylized Art Deco watercolor portrait of an elegant woman wearing a turban. The graphic black lines emphasize her slender silhouette and intense green eyes. The red lips and the bright yellow fur stole over her shoulder add a modern, expressive touch to the image's vintage glamour. Using watercolor and fine ink lines, I captured a woman whose gaze reveals both strength and vulnerability. The combination of figurative and semi-abstract elements… lends the image a timeless, almost vintage elegance. I wanted to create a mood of mystery and inner depth that would fill any home with warmth and a touch of nostalgia.
As an artist, I am always looking for dialogue, for the emotional connection that arises between me, my work, and you as the viewer.
