DEEP AND JEWEL-LIKE, I adore this little painting and what a great spring its been for certain flowers and plants in Michigan! My home has some property, and the grounds more often than not become the source of many of my floral based abstractions. In the front garden there are 8 different varietals of Iris , some rare, and this season's blooms were absolutely powerful; a cornucopia… of natural form glistening with abundant color and light.
This work is purposefully aggressive as I worked to define such beautiful form and movement with line and stroke, yet soft in its messages of beauty and of nature as the greatest artist.
This artwork was completed on 09/27, and the oil is still drying. Please inquire as to the earliest shipping dates.
