About this artwork

Just another perfect fall morning with sunny skies, a cool breeze and all that makes life worth living. It seemed the more Mother Nature blew her gentle breeze on my face and the sun glistened on my canvas, the more frenzied I painted! The end result is dynamic; bold color mixed with my drawing technique and excitedly active brush stroke...all done to enhance the energy of this work and capture this beautiful yet fleeting moment in time.
Remember,… all things in life are temporary, and my images are no exception as I seek to capture these little moments before they are gone! The color, brush stroke and linear elements are all a parts of that equation of impermanence. They are symbiotic.

Live life for the little moments, collect art, drink wine and get out into nature to remember why you're alive.

Jon Parlangeli is a passionate American painter and sculptor who has widely exhibited his work throughout the U.S. Fascinated by the process of creation, he composes works that experiment with color and the physicality of paint.
