About this artwork
Created around coral eyes. The eyes were acquired at the Panjiayuan Market in Beijing. This piece is the first made using the riveted aluminum sheet technique. The entire interior is hollow, hence the piece's name. It is simply the moving tentacle shell and its bright, defiant red eyes.
