About this artwork
In this work, I present the Nachtmahr, the night horse of Norse myths that causes nightmares in men at night. Its form metamorphoses in the shadows, creating a figure that is both real and spectral. I was inspired by the painting "Der Nachtmahr" by the Swiss artist Johann Heinrich Füssli. I used oil and vinyl to create a vibrant and almost surreal texture, where the figurative blends with the metaphysical. The energy it emanates transforms any space,…
