About this artwork
In “Windflüchtig” I paint the power of the moment when movement becomes palpable – when the wind shapes the landscape and sets all living things into vibration.
An abstract tree stands before a wide horizon, surrounded by shades of gray, sienna, and turquoise, interspersed with accents of dark red, brown, and white. These color harmonies carry the energy of a cool, clear day – full of dynamism and light.
With powerful, gestural brushstrokes, I… make visible the currents that flow through the space. In them, energy and stillness, wildness and balance meet.
Thus, “Windflüchtig” becomes for me a symbol of the natural rhythm of life – of letting go, flowing with the current, and the moment when we ourselves become part of the movement.
